Bully operations in a local Afghani village.

1st Platoon was greeted by lots of children right away!

Fortunately, we brought them a surprise...

...A rubber kick ball!

The kids were eager to start a game.

And we had work to do, so the PL kicked it...

...and off they ran.

3rd Squad walks up to the village entrance.

LT Craig talks with a friendly local gentleman.

The village from afar.

Waiting to meet the village elder.

SGT Marker shakes hand with an Afghani boy who wants a pen!

SGT Marker works a bussiness deal with some local kids.

The kids hold out for the pens. One pen for each kid is their final offer.

It's a deal. Afghani children love pens.

Another local gentleman has a bone to pick with LT Craig.

The local men look on as 3rd Squad enters their village.

SSG Marra maintains command and control of his squad.

The little guy gets bullied out of the pen distribution line...don't worry we got one to him eventually.

LT Craig talks with one of the elders about what the Bullies can do to make this village a better place.

A local child who, thanks to US efforts, can now attend school.

SGT Marker makes a new friend.

After having Chi tea at the homes of one of the locals, LT Craig posses for a picture.

The locals laugh at LT Craig as he tries to speak to them in Pastu.

A local boy shows 1st Platoon his weapon of choice.

Delighted by an entertaining day in town, SSG Marra looks on and smiles at the kids on his way out.

SGT "Yedi" Holbrook towers over the rest of 1st Platoon.
