Operation Diablo Reachback

Special missions call for special soldiers. Chosen Company was specially selected to assist the Gundevils of 3/319th Artillery Battery north of Kandahar. Augmented with soldiers from the Afghan National Army, 3rd Platoon blocked and cleared the village of Gombaz and later air-assaulted into 'The Bellybutton'. 3rd Platoon then moved by vehicle to the north and came into contact with ACM forces near the village of Zamto Kalay. 12 days later, we were back in FOB Lagman to prepare for more missions.
