Welcome to 3rd Platoon, Chosen Company 2-503 INF (ABN), currently THE Chosen motorized platoon. Within the platoon, there exists an inter-squad competitiveness that drives every member to push their limits, set new limits, and be the best at every task they undertake. Before deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VI our Weapons Squad won the SPC Jacob Fletcher Best Weapons Squad Memorial Competition. 3rd Platoon sets and maintains the standard in motorized operations, and will be the driving force behind training the other platoons in those operations. 3rd Platoon's performance in Afghanistan has been nothing short of outstanding; the paratroopers will continue to fight to complete our mission and come home.
