RTO stands for Radio Telephone Operator. An RTO must be able to communicate articulately as well as be to operate independently. Furthermore, they must be technically proficient in the wide array of sophisticated equipment through which US forces communicate. Sergeant John Meredith is the head RTO for the company, overseeing “comms” for the entire unit. PFC Aaron Ledoux has stepped up to be the RTO for the First Sergeant, a difficult and complicated responsibility.
